2.) On that same note, please try to stay canon to the books. This RPG begins November 25, 2007, midway through the month and midway through the girl's sophomore year. Please note that all the events of the regular series and the Friends Forever series have taken place.

3.) Ad-libbing of played characters will not be allowed. Please consult the player of another character if you want to involve that character in a plot. Ad-libbing of non-played characters is allowed, unless the non-played character is picked up.

4.) There will be three different places characters can post: stoneybrooklife, the community boards, sl_action, action journal, and the character's own personal journal. All posts on the community boards can be seen by all characters. Posts in the personal journals cannot be seen by other characters. Also, this journal, record_book, will be the OOC journal where all players will be able to ask questions, as well as keeping track of sweeps. Finally, stoneybrookhigh; will be the news journal, listing all the activity that each character has participated in.

5.) In order for a character to stay active, they must post twice a month in the action journal, post once on the community boards, and post once in the journal. If a character does not make any of these requirements by the end of the month, they will make sweeps. If a character makes sweeps three times in a row, the character will be cut.

6.) For those interested in more than one character, a second character may be picked up after two weeks of having the first character. A third character may be picked up a month after the second character is chosen, and a fourth character can be picked up a month after the third character, etc. Five characters is the maximum limit.

7.) If a character must be dropped, the journal and password to the journal must be turned over to the mods. Also, a player cannot pick up a new character until their previous dropped character has been picked up by someone else.

8.) No flaming each other; if a problem arises, please contact the mods to help work the issue out. We encourage open conversation to help avoid major issues or problems.

9.) All PB must be approved by mods, as we would prefer all characters to look around the same ages.

10.) Please proofread and spellcheck all entries.

11.) Paid journals are not and never will be required, though anyone is allowed to get a paid journal in order to get extra icons.

12.) AIM would be beneficial for all players to have, as a way to communicate while doing a thread with another person or when doing a group thread.

13.) Finally, If any changes need to be made to the RPG, all members will be informed and a vote will be taken to determine the best course of action.
